National Park Restoration
Our team continues to dedicate a high level of resources to the restoration of the flood damaged Boodjamulla National Park, the tourism lifeblood of our region.
Bridge Restoration
It was an honour to restore a historical pillar of our community, the Gregory River Pedestrian Bridge, to preserve its integrity and provide direct access to our little township of Gregory for campers on the river.
Road Culvert Repair
GOS Constructions were engaged to undertake the remediation of a damaged culvert on Lawn Hill National Park Road.
GOS were responsible for the development and implementation of a Traffic Management and Environmental Management Plan for the project, to ensure completion with minimal impact to the surrounding flora, fauna and road users.
Our team successfully delivered the carting, placement shaping and compacting of suitable fill to reinstate a seven metre wide safe vehicle access across the damaged area.
Cattle Grid Restoration
GOS Constructions were engaged to:
undertake the restoration of multiple dilapidated cattle grids on Gregory Lawn Hill National Park Road;
develop and implement a Dilapidation Survey and Traffic Management Plan, including establishing road detours accordingly;
expose and mechanically remove grid fixing points;
lift and remove grids to excavate fill and restore to ‘daylight’ condition; and
reinstate the site, removing and responsibly disposing of spoil.
